Organizing Board of the PRO PR Awards has announced that the winner of the PRO PR Infigo Award for 2019 is Mr. Marjan Novak, a prominent Slovenian communication expert, director, and editor-in-chief at Marketing Magazin.
Marjan Novak started his career in media when he was only 17 years old and had his own radio show at the local radio station. Later he worked for different media; radio, television, magazines and press agency. After working for BBC in London, he switched to advertising from creative to managing positions in outdoor company and media buying agency. Since 2008, he is a publisher and editor of monthly Marketing Magazin in Ljubljana which organizes several conferences and communications events. In 2011 he started the first digital conference in Slovenia – Diggit.
According to the Set of Rules of the PRO PR Awards, annual PRO PR Infigo Award will be presented by the President according to his own choice. The award is dedicated to an individual whose area of interest is in journalism, science or culture and who as a presenter of an independent body actively promotes the importance of communication.
The PRO PR Infigo Award was established in 2017, on the occasion of the 15th PRO PR Conference. So far, two winners have been rewarded: Ekrem Dupanović from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Marija Vićić from Serbia.
The winners in other categories of PRO PR Awards for 2019: PRO PR Awards, PRO PR Vision City Award, and PRO PR Vision Manager will be announced at the beginning of 2019.
Gala ceremony will be held on April 12th, 2019 at Katarina hotel in Selce, within the 17th PRO PR Conference that will be held from April 10 to 13, 2019 in Selce.
