28 years of experience in public relations and marketing communications. Andrey started his career as PR-manager at Swedish agency Andreasson Public Relations, later became the head of PR department and Deputy General Director at Communications Agency SPN-Granat. In 1999 he became General Director of SPN Granat. Since 2005 until 2013 agency was a part of international chain Ogilvy Public Relations and was known under the name SPN Ogilvy. Since 2014 the company started working as an independent agency and changed the name to SPN Communications.

Andrey is a member of working groups and an honorary member of many professional and PR associations: Russian Public Relations Association, Association of Consultancies in the field of Public Relations, International Communications Consultancy Organization, International Association of Business Communicators and Russian Academy of Public Relations.

In 2018 Andrey was included into the ICCO Hall of Fame, an accolade that celebrates exceptional contribution to the PR Industry.

He is the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of International Forum Baltic Weekend, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of PROBA ICCO Global PR Awards. He is also a member of the jury and expert boards at national and international industry competitions.

Andrey has been awarded many prestigious awards including IABC Gold Quill Awards, SABRE Awards, Global SABRE Awards, Cannes Corporate TV& Media Awards, IPRA Golden World Awards, Silver Archer. In 2018 for the six-time, he entered the Top-100 Russian managers and top-10 best General Managers in Russia in the field of “Professional services”.

Andrey graduated from St. Petersburg State University, Oriental studies department (major – History of India).

The Heritage of the World Cup 2018

  1. Before the start of 2018 FIFA World Cup, there were a lot of prejudices and stereotypes about Russia that was difficult to overcome.
  2. Despite stereotypes, many football lovers came to Russia and enjoyed Russian hospitality and high level of services provided. Tourists, government delegations, sportsmen left excellent reviews regarding newly erected infrastructure facilities, hotel accommodation, work of volunteers and temporary employees, delicious food and friendly atmosphere in all regions of football matches.
  3. SPN Communications was actively involved in the organization of FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia. Agency team was in charge of FIFA Congress organization, recruitment of temporary employees for VIP/VVIP zones, construction of VIP/VVIP zones and carriage of several protocol events in 4 cities of Russia. SPN Communications made a great contribution in organization of the best FIFA World Cup ever.
