Jasmina Roškar graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Maribor. She started working at Pošta Slovenije (Post of Slovenia), one of the largest companies in Slovenia, in 1996. Two years later, Jasmina started working in the marketing department. She became very interested in everything related to marketing. This interest drove her to acquire a pedagogical education at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana in 2004. Alongside her full time job at Pošta Slovenija, she also started to lecture in the subject of marketing.
Jasmina has lectured for six years as an assistant at the academic Šolski center PET in Ljubljana and for three years as an instructor at the higher vocational college of traffic and transport Višja prometna šola in Maribor. In between, Jasmina moved from marketing to public relations where she found her calling. Along with her personal journey, Pošta Slovenija has evolved, too. Today it is a group with 7 subsidiary companies and, unlike 20 years ago, now operates in a very competitive market. The challenging environment that she work in has enabled her to gain experience and various skills that are required to be a successful manager. From 2003 on, Jasmina has been in charge of public relations and corporate communications at Pošta Slovenije. Although the field of public relations has changed a lot, Jasmina remain loyal to its core principles and values.
