The international PRO PR (Professional Public Relations) Conference has the mission of connecting experts who are part of the public relations industry, as well as those involved in the integrated communication process.
In our mission, we connect, educate, and create new values so that public relations professionals, who operate as part of management, can continue to build and preserve reputation – one of the key elements to success in this field. Reputation cannot be bought; it must be earned. It is the result of a process driven by vision, strategy, implementation, individuals, and teams who, through their daily work and dedication, contribute to the reputation and positioning of their institutions, companies, and brands using various public relations techniques and tools.
The 23rd edition of the international PRO PR Conference continues this mission, gathering professionals from across the region and the world in pursuit of communication excellence.

I want to thank everyone who has been part of the PRO PR conference so far, as well as those who will become part of it.
I have been active in the communications industry for 36 years – initially focusing on public relations, and now on strategic communication – and I have long been thinking about how to connect experts working in this profession. That is how the PRO PR conference was founded in 2003.
The PRO PR conference is the only leading educational platform focused on public relations topics. Behind every project, including this one, which is special because it is held each year in a different country and location (if conditions allow), lies the idea of inspiring public relations.
This journey has not been easy, but thanks to our vision, perseverance, and the support of lecturers and sponsors from international associations that programmatically support the conference – PRCA (Public Relations and Communications Association) and IPRA (International Public Relations Association) – we have managed to create a recognizable platform that connects the public relations profession. Furthermore, the conference enables the exchange of knowledge and experiences, grants recognitions, and operates independently of political influence, guided by ethical business standards and global sustainable development goals.
When I look back, I see thousands and thousands of kilometers traveled, I see hugs and handshakes. I see connections and agreements among our participants, but I also see new friendships and new loves – all this is the PRO PR conference, which is why our motto is “Networking in motion.”
We live in a time when public relations and perception are changing. They used to focus primarily on media relations, and today more than ever they are a strategic management function working synergistically across various fields and levels of corporate communication, digital communication, social responsibility, brand management, event organization, political communication, ESG strategy communication (environment, society, governance), humanitarian work, foundations, and other economic sectors through organizations that advise and implement communication for public administrations, the private sector, and non-profit organizations.
The synergy of knowledge is more present than ever. Public relations standards, their perception, and their position in Southeast Europe and beyond are not the same in all countries. Like all industries, the public relations industry is constantly developing and changing, and thanks to digital transformation, new generations, and their communication habits, public relations is taking on a new role.
Recently, fake news, media transparency, climate change, media transformation, and new challenges brought by the role of artificial intelligence in communication have influenced the development of new projects and communication messages – just as ethical standards represent the key to trust.
I am happy that, together with my team and partners, I can realize our vision. I look forward to meeting you at the next PRO PR conference in Podgorica, at the Hilton Hotel – of course, if your projects and plans allow – so that together we can be part of the mission of inspiring communication.
PRO PR Globe Awards
On the occasion of marking the tenth anniversary of the PRO PR conference in 2012, a unique award
program called the PRO PR Globe Awards was established for individual experts who make a
a significant contribution to the development of public relations.
This award was also recognized by five world communication associations: PRCA (Public Relations
and Communications Association), IPRA (International Public Relations Association), ICCO
(International Communications Consultancy Organization), CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public
Relations) and WCFA (World Communications Forum Association), which through their nominations provide support for awarding excellence.
Unlike other award programs, winners do not pay a registration fee, and commemorative statues are
made by students of academies and faculties of fine arts in the host country of the PRO PR
conference.
As part of the PRO PR Globe Awards, PRO PR Vision City, PRO PR Vision Manager, and the Infigo
Awards are given for a special contribution to the development of the communications industry.
The PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards was founded in 2012 and until 2025 were awarded under the name PRO PR Globe Awards. New brand architecture and new content gave new creativity.

The capital city of Montenegro, located in the fertile valley of the Morača River, Podgorica is a modern and dynamic place that blends rich history with rapid development and urban life. The city is an important economic, cultural, and educational center, as well as a gateway to the natural beauties surrounding this part of the Balkans.
Podgorica offers a wide range of activities for all types of visitors – from history and culture enthusiasts to nature lovers and sports fans.
