Galijna Ognjanov
PhD, Professor at Faculty of Economics Belgrade
Galjina Ognjanov was born in Belgrade on October 18, 1974. She graduated in marketing from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. In 2004, st the same University she earned her PhD in integrated marketing communications. For three years she was a visiting researcher at the University of Pittsburg and European School of Management in Paris.
She teaches at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. As of 2014 she is a full-time professor at the same University. As a visiting professor at the University od Lorraine in Metz she taught a master’s course.
In the field of PR she has contributed to the improvement of education by developing undergraduate course in PR based on an international edition of textbook PR- Strategies and Tactics. She has reviewed the translation of the textbook in Serbian and adapted it to local needs. She has also introduced a master’s program in the field at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade which has been organized since the academic year 2006/07.
Since 2004, as one of the founders of PR Society of Serbia (PRSS) he has actively participated in the development and recognition of PR profession in Serbia also serving as a Board member of PRSS.
