Ingrid Vogl

Ingrid Vogl was born 1955 in Austria. She finished her education in University of Vienna from were she has a Master’s in Sociology and Doctorate in Journalism and Communication.

She started her career as a PR specialist in 1987 as press-office member in the parliamentary group of the Social democratic Party. Up until 1992 she works in politics as a spokesperson for the Viennese Social democratic Party and in general election campaign-management. From 1992 till 1997 she works as a PR manager for couple of leading Austrian companies in the banking and tobacco sectors.

After a year as a self-employed PR consultant, in a period from 1999 till 2009 she works in Corporate Communication for the Wiener Stadtwerke group, where she’s Head of  Corporate Communication from 2002. From 2005 she’s an assistant lecturer at different educational institutions in Austria.

From January till April 2010 she was a part of presidential election campaign-management in the team of federal president Heinz Fischer, who won his second mandate. After the election she continues as a self-employed PR consultant. One of her main projects was campaign-coordination for a petition for as referendum on education in 2011.

As part of her voluntary work she held a function of president of PRVA (Public Relations Association Austria) form March 2011 till March 2015. From May 2015 she is a managing director of the Scientific Senate of the PRVA.
