Jim Mcqueeny

Jim McQueeny has built a distinguished career across
the fi elds of politics, policy, and media, showcasing a
versatile skill set and deep expertise in communications. Throughout his career, McQueeny has worked in
high-profi le roles that span the corridors of power and
the world of media.
McQueeny’s experience began in Washington, D.C.,
where he served as White House Bureau Chief for one
of the largest newspapers in the U.S., a position that
allowed him to cover the highest levels of government
and provide insightful reporting during pivotal moments in U.S. history. He then transitioned to Capitol
Hill, where he worked as Chief of Staff and spokesman
for a U.S. Senator, overseeing key political strategies
and acting as a principal spokesperson in a fast-paced
environment.
His career also fl ourished in television, where he became a prominent political analyst and show host for
three major New York City-market television programs. McQueeny’s media presence continued to grow, and
he became a political analyst on numerous platforms, including ABC’s Good Morning America, MSNBC, and
various regional news and radio programs. His ability to offer sharp insights on political matters earned him
guest spots on many of the country’s leading news programs.
In addition to his media work, McQueeny founded and owned several communications and public affairs
consulting fi rms, where he helped shape strategic public relations initiatives for clients at both the state and
national levels. His fi rms earned a reputation for delivering impactful marketing and media solutions.
McQueeny’s contributions have extended beyond business, as he has held leadership roles in infl uential organizations. He served on the board of the International Public Relations Association and acted as a liaison
between non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the United Nations’ Department of Global Communications. Additionally, he is on the boards of the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice and the Harvard University Kennedy School’s Trotter Advisory Board on Social Justice.
A talented writer and author, McQueeny has penned articles for prominent publications such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The New York Daily News, among others. His writing, combined with
his extensive public speaking and media expertise, has made him a respected voice in political commentary.
Throughout his career, McQueeny has received numerous accolades for his achievements, ranging from
awards for marketing successes to recognition in journalism and business. His commitment to education and
mentorship has also been evident in his roles as an adjunct professor.
He has taught media courses as a Fellow at Sacred Heart University in Fairfi eld, Connecticut, and previously
served as an adjunct media and communications professor at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New
Jersey
