Maja Bajalska Georgievska is a public relations and integrated marketing-communications professional from Skopje, N. Macedonia with over 20 years of experience in the media and communications industry.
She started her career as a journalist at the age of nineteen and since 2003 she worked as a business journalist and editor for television, a daily newspaper, a weekly magazine, and various news portals. Parallel to her journalism career, she also worked as a teaching assistant for the
Public Opinion course at the Skopje Faculty of Law, from 2006 until 2009.
Maja has been working in Public Relations since 2012. In 2014 she took on the role of PR Specialist at TAV Macedonia, the company that operates the Macedonian airports. She is currently the Chief of Corporate Communications at TAV Macedonia, where she leads a team and executes the corporate communications strategies of the parent company, TAV Airports group. She has initiated and managed many projects from scratch, established brand recognition and fostered positive perception by the public, built strong media relationships, created valuable digital content, and promoted a customer-centric approach in reputation management activities.
Maja graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with highest honors. She holds a Master of Science in Media and Communications from the Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research in Skopje. She attended the Executive MBA program at Sheffield University.
