Nataša Aleksić
Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Srpska
Ms. Aleksić graduated journalism at the University of Banja Luka and currently finishing postgraduate studies of journalism and communication at the Faculty of Political Science. She also graduated at the School forDigital Journalism at the Banja Luka College of Communication. Ms. Aleksić has completed several trainings on reporting organized by BBC, Deutsche Welle and AIM Network. While studying, she worked as a journalist at the Radio of the Republic of Srpska, for AIM Network and BORAM network as reporter and program editor at Kontakt radio B. Luka.
She started to work in public relations in 2003 within NGO sector. Ms. Aleksić worked as PR manager at the EXIT Centre and at the IT BSC Centre Banja Luka. During this period she participated in organization and promotion of trainings, media campaigns and events related to information technologies.
From 2006 she has been working as Public Relation Officer at the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Srpska where she has been engaged in work with media and developing communication strategies and plans in different fields of action. Ms. Aleksić has also participated in development of many promotional campaigns related to health and social care issues.
In cooperation with Public Health Institute of RS she has developed training for health professionals related to communication with media. Continuously, she is cooperating with local institutions and international organization in the process of organizing events and educations related to improvement of communication skills of stakeholders. She participated in many professional trainings related to public relations and held presentations for journalists, PR professionals, health workers and NGO’s activists organized in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Turkey, Moldova, Russia, Kazakhstan, Japan and China.
