Samo Gaberšček started his career with different positions in the Information Technology field and managing security events quickly became part of the work. As an information security professional, he has engaged in developing and promoting organization programs to develop and mature information security for the past 15 years. He has worked with organizations in the sectors of IT, finance, pharma, telecommunications, gaming, and the public sector. Engagements led to the organization’s global, regional, or sector-specific information security-related attestations such as ISO27001, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, TISAX, etc.
He graduated in Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and obtained a master’s degree in Business Informatics from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
