Saša Forgić
Head of the Osijek-Baranja County Prefect’s Cabinet for International Cooperation and Protocol
Saša Forgić was born in Belišće, Croatia, on March 6, 1965. He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science in Sarajevo in 1990 and continued with a post-graduate study of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb. In 1994 Saša started to work as an advisor for education with the Osijek-Baranja County Education Department. He was responsible for the budget of the Secondary school system, and worked in the Danube region during the peaceful integration into the constitutional education system of the Republic of Croatia, implementation of Croatian curriculum, arranging and ensuring minority rights etc.
In 2002 Saša became an advisor for Culture and Civil Society at the Osijek-Baranja County Cultural Department and in 2003 he was appointed the Head of the Osijek-Baranja County Prefect’s Cabinet and Head of International Cooperation and Protocol Department. At his current position Saša is responsible for all Protocol matters, planning and organization, County PR and cooperation with all international partners and organizations including multilateral and national institutions.
