Leading global recognition of the individuals in the field of communication management

SET OF RULES
OF ANNUAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT

PREAMBLE

After the analysis of the world, European, and national reward programs by professional associations for public relations and communication, the organizer Apriori World d.o.o.; Florijana Andrašeca 18a, Zagreb, Republic of Croatia, comes to the conclusion that there is no reward program for experts in the field of public relations (communication management), aimed at individuals, who deal with public relations or are part of communication implementation processes and consulting within companies, institutions, events, non-profit organizations, agencies, or experts, who contribute to the development of the public relations profession. According to a publicly available analysis, all existing reward programs in the field of public relations mainly refer to public relations projects, not to individual experts. Also, according to the analysis, it is common for project award programs to be based on payment for participation in the award process, with the exception of Lifetime Achievement Awards and Professional Development Awards, which are awarded as part of various events, mostly to one person. In this case, they are not charged. The PRO PR Globe Awards recognition program is not charged either in the nomination process or in the recognition process.

For the above reasons, and with the aim of promoting the profession of public relations and individual experts in this field, Danijel Koletić, founder and president of the organizing committee of the International PRO PR Conference for Public Relations, made a decision on March 27, 2011., to establish the PRO PR Globe Awards recognition.
