Independent, confidential and professionally responsible evaluation
The Communication Achievement Awards maintain a rigorous and impartial judging process led by experienced communication professionals.
1. Selection of judges
Judges are selected for their expertise, professional achievements and contribution to communication. Each judge signs a conflict-of-interest declaration and must not evaluate work connected with their employer, clients, associates or related organisations. Lobbying judges or disclosing deliberations is ethically unacceptable.
2. Expertise and experience
Panel members have proven professional experience and understand current communication practices, trends and standards.
3. Impartiality and independence
Judges disclose conflicts and withdraw from affected categories. Every eligible project is evaluated independently and solely on professional merit.
4. Confidentiality
Submission information and panel discussions remain confidential. Personal data is processed under applicable Croatian and European data-protection rules. Evaluation material is retained only as required by the programme rules.
5. Evaluation process
Judges assess strategy, creativity, execution, ethics and measurable results. At least three valid entries are normally required to evaluate a category; where only one entry exists, the organiser may propose transfer to a more suitable category and inform the applicant.
6. Professional integrity
Judges act objectively, responsibly and without external influence. A judge who does not fulfil the agreed evaluation duties may not be reappointed. The organising committee may request feedback to improve future cycles.
