Asja Čengić Kasumović

Asja Čengić Kasumović is an independent PR consultant with experience in private, governmental, non-governmental sector and international organizations. She worked as a Head of Office for PR Communications of Development programme of United Nations and led a Communication group of United Nations in Bosnia nad Herzegovina.
Before joining the UN team, she led the department of PR communications in the High Judicial nad Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia nad Herzegovina. She was working as PR manager/spokesperson of the Sarajevo Fil Festival, and she started her career at the Office of the High Representative (OHR) for the BiH at the position of Referent for public information of the Sarajevo region.
She acquired her experience in marketing at J. Walter Thompson agencies and at the EURO RSCG in Prague, Czech Republic. She graduated in marketing and PR communications from the School of Business Administration, Anglo-American University in Prague, and earned her master’s degree in communication and cultural studies from the Faculty of Media and Communications, Singidunum University in Belgrade.
Since 2007 she has been a coach in different segments of PR communications such as presentation skills; public information campaigns; event management; branding; PR communications and marketing of cultural institutions and events; political PR and marketing.
From 2011 Asja is a member of International Associations of Business Communications – IABC.
