Samuel Heath is the Director of Communications for INTERPOL, the international law enforcement organisation.
As a British Diplomat, he was Director of Communications for the UK government in the US at the British Embassy in Washington, Spokesperson and Head of Communication at the UK Mission to the United Nations in New York, and Head of Communications in British High Commission in Islamabad. He has previously worked on issues relating to intelligence policy and on Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and as chief press officer in the Foreign Office.
Earlier in his career, Samuel worked in the communications team of the UK’s Prime Minister’s Office and the Cabinet Office, and as Head of PR and Marketing at Mencap, one of the UK’s largest charities.
He has Masters Degrees in Journalism and in International Relations, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and a Bachelors Degree in Politics and Philosophy. His communications interests include global media trends, national brands and reputation management.
Born in Worcestershire in the UK, Samuel holds Polish and British nationality.
