The PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards were established following an in-depth analysis of global and national communication award programmes, with a particular focus on public relations. The findings revealed that none of the existing international PR and communication awards are exclusively dedicated to recognising individuals; instead, most are oriented toward rewarding projects.
Within the communication industry, individual recognitions are typically linked to paid nominations or granted in the form of lifetime achievement awards.
The PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards stand out as a unique global programme in which nominees and recipients do not pay any nomination or award fees, making it one of a kind in the world.

Each PRO PR Globe People Achievement Award includes both the formal recognition and a unique piece of art created especially for the awards ceremony by students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje.
