Branko Mitrović, executive director of the One company, is proud of his development path, where, step by step, he reached the leadership position from the starting position in the company, through knowledge, effort and commitment. He believes that people are the driving force of every business, and that the leader’s task is to provide employees with an environment in which they will be able to realize their full potential. He sees working in telecommunications for 25 years as a privilege because, as he says, it is an exciting industry whose main feature is dynamism. Branko became the executive director of One in July 2019. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Telenor of Montenegro, and for four years he worked as the executive director of corporate affairs at Telenor of Serbia. Branko started his career in the company Mobtel in 1998, held several management positions in the finance and corporate affairs sector in Telenor of Serbia. From 2011, he was the director of wholesale, and from 2014 to 2016, he led Telenor’s company in Montenegro, MNNews Branko is a member of the Board of Directors of the Council of Foreign Investors of Montenegro, as well as the CEO of the Forum of the Association of Managers of Montenegro. The results achieved in 2023 decided the Management Board of the Association of Managers of Montenegro to award Branko Mitrović the award – Manager of the Year in large companies, and a professional recognition for his personal contribution to the development of the Montenegrin economy and management. Branko believes that in the business environment recognitions are important because they set standards, but that the real value for the team is actually in what we learn while running our race. He completed his undergraduate and master’s studies at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Belgrade, and earned his master’s degree in business administration at the Cotrugla Business School. He completed programs at London, INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
