Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Republic of Srpska – Spokesperson
Mirna Šoja is the public relations officer and a spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Srpska. Like many colleagues in this area, her path towards public relations began with journalism.
In 2004 she graduated Journalism from Faculty of Philosophy in Banjaluka. During her studies she worked on Radio Sarajevo as a reporter in the newsroom, mostly reporting about political topics. In the same year, 2002, she started to work as a journalist in Euroblic, the daily newspaper, where she slowly became the executive editor. She remained at that position until 2008 when she began her career in public relations as the PR officer for the Ministry of Interior.
Ms Šoja’s interest in politics encouraged her to build upon her education. In 2006 she finished the Political Academy at the Faculty of Philosophy in Banjaluka and in 2008 the Political Academy at the Council of Europe ans Center for Interdisciplinary Study in Sarajevo. Due to the nature of her work in the Ministry she also finished the basic training for police officers at the Police Academy of the Republic of Srpska.
Ms Šoja loves to learn and build upon her abilities so she’s currently getting her Master’s degree in International Politics at the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade, which she started in 2010.
